My favorite thing about being over the age of 40 is seeing how far I have come as an individual and as a part of my community. It’s something I am extremely proud of.
Age is just a number. We have all heard it…but do you truly believe it? I do. The older I get, the more extraordinary experiences I collect. Age is providing more opportunities to learn from life…and all of life’s amazing adventures. As a 43 year old woman, mother, and entrepreneur, there is always an opportunity to forge new paths. Some may say that I haven’t taken the easy road, but I remind myself that I have chosen the life of high-risk, high-reward.
In the next decade, I dream of being retired or semi-retired. As a curious soul, I am eager to adventure and explore in a more nomadic way than what I have been able to do so far in life. I’ve remained a weekend warrior and feed my sense of adventure as often as I can.
I was blown away when I saw the final portraits. The session itself was fun and nourishing for my soul. The final photos truly captured the same feelings that the session provided, but in a permanent form that will remind me for years to come.
