The best thing about being over the age of 40 is a sense of wisdom and personal growth. With each passing year, I’ve accumulated a wealth of life experiences, lessons, and memories that have shaped me into the person I am today. The wisdom I’ve gained has led me to prioritize what truly matters in life – relationships, personal growth, and a sense of purpose. This shift in mindset has brought me a profound sense of fulfillment and a serenity that I never anticipated.
I wake up with a sense of excitement and gratitude for the extraordinary life I am blessed to have. I’ve faced many challenges and overcame countless obstacles. I’ve experienced moments of darkness and pain that seemed insurmountable. By embracing my past, I’m learning to overcome my demons and transform them into stepping stones on the path to my truest self. One of the greatest blessings in my life is my son. His smiling face reminds me of the beautiful bond we share and how important it is to treasure our time together. I am grateful for the love, support, and guidance he gives me. I have also found romance again. Meeting someone who understands and accepts me for who I am has been a transformative experience. This journey of embracing life, living in the moment, expressing gratitude for my son, and finding romance has brought joy and fulfillment to my life. I realize that by focusing on what truly matters and appreciating the present, I am able to create a positive environment not just for myself, but also for the people I care about.
It is my goal to travel abroad for a month or three to learn about other cultures and people and explore wherever the wind blows. It is my goal of inspiring others and letting them know they are not alone in their struggles, I am using my experiences of travel, suicide loss, and mental health as a catalyst for change. I hope to inspire resilience, self-compassion, and empowerment by sharing my story. Ultimately, I wish to prevent suicide among young adults and reduce the prevalence of mental health issues. Obviously, everyone’s reasons for wanting to help others and travel may differ, but for me, it’s a personal calling. If I could help just one person, I’ve accomplished a lot. I believe that we all have the potential to make a difference in the world. I’m motivated to use my story to create a positive impact and help others.

They serve as a tangible reminder of how far I’ve come and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. By having professional photos taken, I am learning to embrace my authentic self.
