My name is Karianne Munstedt, founder of the R.I.S.E. Woman Project.
As a photographer who specializes in branding portraits for women, I strive to help women RISE in their businesses, in their professions, and in their lives. As they are RISING themselves, I’ve also witnessed these amazing women helping other women in their communities to RISE.
I wanted to create a project where these fabulous women in business could come together, not only to be beautifully photographed, but also to be celebrated, to be honored. I wanted to create a project where I could find more ways to help you RISE, and where we could collectively reach out and help others RISE too.

THIS IS WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE
R.I.S.E. WOMAN PROJECT:
You’ll work virtually with a wardrobe stylist to select 5 outfits for your session.
On the day of your session at our Phoenix, AZ studio, you’ll be treated to full hair and makeup styling. It feels so good to be pampered and treated like the boss you are!
You’ll be fully-guided through your custom studio portrait session. Don’t worry about “not being photogenic.” That’s not your job…it’s mine.
You’ll fall in love with yourself all over again when your final portraits are revealed to you at your personal Image Reveal Session.
You’ll receive a collection of 10 high impact, fully-retouched branding portraits (and you’ll have the opportunity to purchase all of the images you love).
You’ll share your story about how you you are RISING in your community and how you are helping others RISE as well. Your portrait and story will be featured in the R.I.S.E. Woman custom marketing MAGAZINE!
We’re partnering with women’s organizations nationwide, such as NAWBO and Take the Lead Women. You’ll receive special discounts, invitations to events, and opportunities to become more deeply involved.
You’ll be honored at a R.I.S.E. Woman Celebration at Phoenix City Hall, where you’ll network with participants and other top women in business, like Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego! This will take place in Phoenix near the end of 2023.
