Empower Through Art: A Women-Owned Business Collaboration kicks off on March 8, International Women’s Day, and will showcase a number of portraits of Greater Phoenix area women business owners at various woman-owned businesses around Roosevelt Row. This collaboration hopes to inspire men and women alike to visit new businesses on Roosevelt Row that they may not have visited before, as well as to view the gorgeous portraits of more than 2 dozen women who also run businesses in the Greater Phoenix area. Spearheaded by local photographer Karianne Munstedt – who also has a portrait studio on Roosevelt – this is the first collaboration of its kind among the women-owned businesses of Roosevelt Row. Through her branding portrait business and her Embrace Your Beauty Photography Project, Munstedt has photographed more than 200 women business owners from around the United States.
